What is the free diagnostic?
A free 30-minute online session where I find out what your child knows, what is shaky and what they want from tutoring. There is no obligation to continue.
Why are sessions 2 hours?
Two hours lets us go deep on a topic, work through questions and review mistakes. It is also better value per hour than a 1-hour session. You can book 1 hour as a one-off if you prefer.
When can sessions happen?
Session times are flexible and matched to each student. Book the free diagnostic and we will find times that work for your family.
Where do the sessions happen?
Online over Google Meet. All you need is a computer or tablet and a stable connection.
What year levels and subjects do you teach?
Years 7 to 10: English, Maths, Science and NAPLAN preparation. Years 11 and 12: English Advanced, Maths Advanced, Maths Extension 1, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Business Studies.
Can my child learn in a pair?
Yes. Pair prices are per student and are on the pricing page. Term Plus is one-on-one only.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer is preferred, but I am flexible and other payment methods can be discussed. I send the details when you confirm a session or a term. Term fees are due before the first session. Casual sessions are paid before the session.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
With at least 24 hours' notice it is free to reschedule. With less than 24 hours' notice there is a 50% charge, and with less than 4 hours' notice or a no-show it is 100%. One late cancellation per term is waived for a genuine emergency. A missed or late-cancelled session is not made up, and any outstanding fee is paid before the next session is booked. Are you working with children checked?
Yes, I hold a Working With Children Check.
Do you follow the current NSW syllabus?
Yes. NSW is phasing in new Year 11 and 12 syllabuses, so I teach from the version your school is using and tailor each session to your child.
