Cancellation and make-up policy

24 hours' notice or more: free reschedule into another available slot in the same term. Term students get up to 2 make-ups per term, then it is subject to availability.
Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of the session fee. Less than 4 hours' notice, or a no-show: 100%.
No-show: the student is not present within 15 minutes of the start time with no notice. The session still ends at its scheduled time.
Emergency waiver: one late cancellation per term is waived (no charge) for a genuine emergency, with reasonable supporting evidence on request, such as a medical certificate for illness. After that, the normal charge applies.
Missed or late-cancelled sessions: these are charged as above and are not made up. Any outstanding fee is paid before the next session is booked. The emergency waiver is the only exception.
If I cancel, or technology fails on either side: a free make-up session.
Payment: by bank transfer (preferred; other methods can be discussed). Term fees are due before the first session. Casual sessions are paid before the session.
Leaving mid-term: sessions already used are recalculated at the Casual rate and the remainder is refunded. Unused sessions at the end of the term lapse.
